is it possible to use a udm or any da to remove 1500 and up grit sand paper. if it is what kind of polish or compound would you guys recommend? thanks and happy late valentines day

That's going to depend on how hard the paint is. I've been told of paint so hard that you can't buff the sanding marks with a rotary. With soft paint it will take a long time but it can be done with the right pads/products.

My vote would be to use 3m compound for wet sanding otherwise spoiled man summed it up nicely.

A Flex with systemone X3 Polish and an orange pad should work wonders

Have you used the power gloss I am going to be doing a buddys vette that he is painting and it will have alot of clear on it and I am wrestling with the choice of the power gloss and nano or the 3M system I already have the nano so I may go that way. Please anyone chime in.Feed back please

The power gloss would work but it dust like crazy. For wet sanding I prefer the 3m compound also I have been using ultrafina to finish with which gives just as good results as 106FF. ALso you can use Meguiars M105 to remove wet sand marks.
