GG3 Pads

Has anyone used the HT 3in vs. GG 3in pads? I know the MF have been recommended.. I just have never used a MF pad.

If I want to use it for headlight sanding is it the 3 inch foam interface pad that I would need?

I've seen the rupes white 4 inch suggested for wax.. It describes the pad as a polishing pad... will that work for wax and/or sealant application? Does it have any cut?

I haven't pulled the trigger on GG3 yet... but am close.. Finalizing thoughts on pads... For light correction, wax/sealant application etc. the newer version should work fine correct?

Although I haven't confirmed it, it is my belief that Griot's Garage pads are (or at least were) actually manufactured by Lake Country, and the cyan, tangerine, and red pads are the same as the Hydrotech pads. I have some of the squared-off Griot's 3" pads mixed in with some Hydrotech pads, and I can't tell them apart.
