Last summer I bought a 50ft Gilmour Flexogen, more like Flexojunk, garden hose. The outer sheathing of the hose towards the attachment end has kind of been getting worn, and while using it this past weekend the rubber finally blew out on. Gilmour claims that they will replace it if you are ever unsatisfied on the packaging, and states that it has a lifetime warranty on the packaging. All I have to do is send both hose ends back to them, yet the postage will probably cost as much as buying a new hose.
Has anyone ever requested a new hose under warranty from Gilmour? How long did it take for you to receive it from them?
I'd like to actually have a good hose since my other one is kind of worn too. Since its not spring time yet, finding a hose is almost impossible. In the meantinme I will probably just order one online, but I will be getting my replacement from Gilmour just for the principal sake of doing so. Can you all reccomend a good hose that last a good amount of time, and can take the use of vashing vehicles frequently?
