What would you guys recommend to remove scratches from glass on rear 1/4 windows? I'm restoring several sets of Mustang 1/4 windows and I'm wondering what would be best for the glass on them, since some have scratches from storage... I would like to keep the cost around $40 since I'm trying to turn a profit on these things...

Heres a picture of the windows. I restored the trim around the window, its notorious for deteriorating on these cars. This one's glass was alright, but the ones I bought to flip need some attention:

This is what they look like before (this one is really bad. I normally wont do them when they are this bad):

This is the passanger side I did on my car, unfortunately I dont have a close up:

Well glass is very hard, so to get rid of scratches is near impossible. Most glass "polishes" are really just cleaners and with the extra help from the PC/Rotary they will simply clean the glass better and remove contamination easier. A 4" pad may do something if there's water spots or contamination, but really nothing for the scratches. Your going to need new glass if you want them to look nice.

The LC Glass Polishing system has been getting some high reviews over on another auto site. But if you're wanting to do this on the cheap you might be out of luck...
