Glass Restorer Question

I noticed on information for glass restorer products (DP Glass Restorer) that it says exterior glass only (easy enough) and then says avoid using on window tinting.

So I am wondering is this after market or factory window tint or both.

I was thinking about getting this product to use for water spots/etching on my 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab windows which has factory tint on the rear side windows.

If this should not be used do you folks have some suggestions on a safe alternative? :dunno:

tint is commonly applied inside the glass, thus if using on exterior glass only you will be fine.
