I bought a gallon of Glassworks cleaner from chemical guys. It turned out to be fake product. It is just plain water and red dye.
I can see the dye stuff on windshield. I am really piss off

Where did you purchase the Chemical Guy's Glassworks Glass Cleaner from? I don't see that we offer this item on the Autogeek website. I just searched the Chemical Guy's website and I don't see it listed there either. I see they offer 3 different glass cleaners on their website. I'm guessing this item was discontinued by Chemical Guy's. I would recommend contacting Chemicals Guy's.

Can you prove that it's just plain water and red dye?

Rule #1:

Never shop at "Jethro's bait shop/detailing product emporium". ;)

I learned my lesson. I thought I was buying some carnauba wax from Jethro, turned out to be buttercream icing.

In your defense:
Perhaps when they were filling up your bottle
of Glassworks...somehow, or the other, the
following chemicals were inadvertently left out:
•Sodium Xylenesulfonate;
•1,3-Bis(hydroxymethyl)-5,5-dimethylimi-
dazolidine-2,4-dione;
•1-(Hydroxymethyl)-5,5-dimethylhydantoin;
•and a Fragrance?

Note:
I’d ask for another bottle from a
different batch/lot. For science’s sake.

On the other hand:
•Whenever I see any blue dye (that Meguiar’s
uses in its D120 Glass Cleaner) on my vehicles’
windshields...
-I take that as a cue to finish wiping off this
particular glass cleaner’s remaining residue(s).

Just saying...

Autogeek used to carry it

Chemical Guys Glass Workz Glass Cleaner with Pomegranate Scent

I would also venture that it has been discontinued. I recall buying it a number of years ago and kept getting nothing but streaking and residual product left on the windows, regardless of technique or towels used. I finally gave up and threw the rest of it in the trash.
