Wife is leaving for 15 months for overseas & the kids are going to Massachusetts to stay with my brother-in-law and his family for the time being.

Its going to be a lonely year for sure before I have to sell the house & get ready to move back to the east coast when the wife is done with her tour.

Just bought a quicksilver '15 Sierra that has PBL paint coating on it. I guess I'll polish that off and try my Auto Finesse Desire. Well, I'll be back to my weekly washes too like before we had kids!

So what would you all do with all this extra free time?

I would WORK and save up for the move/ trip to see my kids

Forgot to mention I do have a job lol. I work night shift so I have a lot of time during the day to do whatever since I don't sleep much.

First I am assuming that your wife is being deployed for military service. For that your wife has my upmost respect and thanks for serving and preserving our way of life. Also thank you to,you and your children for not being in her company at home and being separated. I agree working 3rd shift makes it hard to sleep during the day. Detail smaller jobs that can be complete in a few hours like a wash, light polish and wax/sealant.

Best to of luck and safe return of your wife.

That's the side of serving our country many people forget, the sacrifices the families make. I grew up with a father in the military who spent a lot of time away. Thanks for making the sacrifice bud.
