Got a new Laptop for a great price.

My girlfriend was in the market for a new laptop, so we ended up buying one today. She was on a pretty strict budget, and I think we did a pretty good job.

Compaq Presario is what we got.
Vista Home Premium
AMD Turion 64 Mobile 2.0GHz processor
1gb of memory
15.4" Bright view screen
NVIDIA 6150 GeForce Video
80 GB hard drive
8x DVD+/-R/RW drive

and the rest of the basic stuff.
Total was $599 from Best Buy, great deal IMO.

I have an HP with 1.83ghz Intel Duo 2, higher vid card, and better battery and paid double of what she did.

great deal on that laptop. unfortunately for me going into engineering school , mine had to cost more than that....
