Like I said in this thread http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/23932-can-you-believe-hyundai.html we got a brand new 2011 Kia Sorento SX V6 in Dark Cherry today. I know it's not something super exciting but the deal we got on it was:)

sorry for the dark pictures and I only have a point and shoot cam

We called ahead of time to go and pick up the car, meanwhile at the dealership they gave me the full interior exterior detail.... :props: (sarcastic thumbs up!)

This will be the 1st car I've OCed, I hope I can knock most of that crap out with M205 or PO85RD.

Thanks for looking.

Man them things are slick! These underdog car manufacturer's are making a come up. My pop's neighbor has an Equuis and that thing is hot! Congrats on the new car.

Very nice! Congrats!

Thank you Tiger:)

Pretty much about the only reason why we purchased this car was for the styling. It didn't hurt that the price was nice and low.

Me and the wifey are actually looking at those. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

Thanks

Depends on where you live.

I've seen ones with Sunroof FWD 2012 SX go 29XXX out the door, but that's California.

I've found that people on East Cost seems to pay a heftier price.

We got this one out the door for 29200.20, which is ass TBH with you. Also some Kia dealerships still act a bit like crooks with the mindset of selling super cheap cars for the low end market (far from the truth as most Kia's at base price on the lot are now hovering at 20k mark...). We found a AWD 2011 SX with all the main options (I don't consider cargo net a real option) for around 32k online and talked them down to 30k out the door but we didn't take it since we where looking around still, in the next seven days they raised the price to 34k before tax title and fees etc so we said #### off and got it from another dealerships.

Congratulations. :)

I noticed a few nights ago, driving behind a coworker's Sorrento, those rear lights, LED, are probably the most visible, powerful tail lights I've ever seen.

Congratulations on your new ride. Nice looking and a good choice in color. When you detail it the metal flake will pop.

Sorentos are very nice. Looks like that metal flake will look great.

Yeah they are pretty darn bright, not only that when you turn on the lights at night they have a nice square pattern.

I hope so!

Lots of luck with the SUV. But why an SUV? This one has less room than a car.

Why an SUV? Same reason I got a crossover SUV - convenient storage and good mileage. I like it for my golf clubs and other stuff, my wife loves it for shopping and we both love it for antique hunting. Also, I've been in a Sorento, they have plenty of room. Just because you don't like it is no reason to knock somone's new ride. Geez, learn some manners.

Nice New Car ... bad DISO option.

Next new car I buy I am going to let them know if they attempt to detail it before pickup, the sale is off.

I did the same on my wife's Lexus. You shoulda seen the looks. I think it almost killed them not to touch it. Even asked "Are you sure you don't want us to vacuum it out?" Of course they got even with me. Wife took it in for the free oil change, they couldn't resist washing it even tho' I told them not to. I swear they dried it with 50 grit. Took me 2 days to polish it out. I was not a happy person.

Please do not be so touchy. I did not insult you or your new car. I only made a comment and asked about your thinking. I owned two SUV's and have some experience with storage space as compared to a full size car and was curious about your reasoning

I wish you the best of luck and enjoyment with your purchase.
I am really sorry if you think that I insulted you.

I had one of these as a rental car and I loved it! I was extremely surprised at how great the ride was, did not drive like a SUV at all!
CONGRATS!!! Now go buff and shine and take some photos!

I tape an index card to the dash stating "DO NOT WASH THIS VEHICLE" and make sure it is in the service notes as well. Lessons learned the hard way.
