I got a contract with state government to detail an agency's 60 vehicles, monthly wash and quick interior at the agency's (outdoors) loading dock. Contract started 10/1.

I have been mobile detailing for 8 years now. This will ensure that I have at least 3 cars per day, every month.

I currently have 9 monthly customers and I average 9 other appointments per month.

If there's any interest, I will use this thread to describe how I got the contract, how I bid the job, price of service, what services I am providing for the price and how it goes.

First week completed. All of the vehicles are COMPLETELY covered in whiskey fungus. The parking area is directly up the hill from a bourbon distillery. They also needed 4 big vehicles done right away so I jumped right into the fire.

Here's a video of the whiskey fungus:

The whiskey fungus requires pressure washing, a quality soap, elbow grease, synthetic clay pads on a cyclo polisher, and in the worst cases, buffing with cleaner wax.

Jeez that whiskey fungus is no joke!
I made a thread a couple of years ago about how this whiskey fungus is going to be big money. Bourbon production is booming, so the fungus is blooming!

Oh yeah I think I remember that thread. It's getting all over people's houses too right?

Yes it's crazy that a corporation is allowed to pollute like that, but I can't complain I guess.
