I will be at CamaroFest 8 July 11-14 in Bowling Green, KY as the official detailer for the festival! I'm so excited I can barely sit still! It will be 4 days of non-stop car washing and polishing!

I am sure I will be asking for lots of opinions on detailing this volume of cars.

Sweet! yes I plan to be set up both places. I din't go last year so I don't know how it was all set up. I expect to get more details soon from the guy who is running it.

Thanks! It is in conjunction with the museum and Beech Bend Park.

I missed last year due to my sons all star baseball. I went to The fest prior to that in BG. This year we end before the event.

I have been told that it will be 3 days of non-stop cars lined up for washes. There will be over 1000 cars there (obviously, i am not going to wash every one!) I am working on a menu to upsell services. I have 3 of my needed crew of 5 confirmed and I have hotel rooms for myself and the crew.

I am looking at minimum $30 hand wash. I am shooting for 8 cars per hour (2 crews, 4 cars per hour) so $240/hr. I hope to upsell deep wheel cleaning, windshield sealant, silica sealant (HydroBlue, WetCoat), and hand carnauba wax or polymer paint sealant.

I also plan to sell detail kits with detail spray, glass cleaner, tire shine, odor neutralizer and MF towels.

I am scheduling polishing jobs but I can only schedule about 10, since I personally do the polishing.

Any ideas, suggestions, or opinions are appreciated!
