I received my Metro Vac n' Blow today, I ordered it on a Black Friday special for $149.99 and it included a free wheeled dolly. Firstly I was amazed at the size... IT IS SMALL! So after setting it all up I just had to try it out... This thing rocks! Or should I say it sucks! I had it on my shop floor and I noticed the power of the discharge side of the vacuum, so I put my hand in front of the port and the little rocket started to move across the floor from the thrust...! I cannot believe the suction power of this. For all of you who have settled for a Shop-Vac or other similar vacuum... you are missing out!

Thats good to hear. I've been debating about picking one up for awhile now. Thats a great price, wish I would of seen that. I see its on sale for 169.99 now. How strong is the blow feature? Did you order extra bags?

would love to know about the blowing feature, reead many people use that to dry off thier cars, would be interested to see if this will get that job done. Guessing it is not a good idea to use a gas powered blower for the job?

The blower is more than sufficient for blowing out trim, rain gutters, headlights, door handles and side mirrors... The whole car... I'm not sure. I did not pick up any extra bags, I wish I had though... The bags are TINY. Even though the machine is quite small, about 3/4 of it is motor.

I use a backpack blower to dry off my car. I dont see any way it can hurt the car.

ive messed around with the 8hp model. that thing will def dry a car in 5 min.

Metro is a great company to work with, not to mention they make some amazing vacs!

I used a gas leaf blower for a while before getting my Vac 'N Blo. I never had any problems...just odd looks from the neighbors.

I love my Vac 'N Blo, though. It is better with the trim and small crevices than the leaf blower. I only use it after sheeting most of the water off and going over the car with a waffle weave.

I also use this to dry my dog after she's has a bath or has gone for a swim
