Got the new Ultima Waterless & Rinseless Today!

Ultima wins in the cost and smell dept. Tied in the cleaning dept., but OOC gets my vote on the gloss dept. I also noticed that OOC does not hold dirt on my mf unlike ONR.
You are probably right Ron. I havent done A GLOSS COMPARISON. i DID DO A BUG REMOVAL TEST, USING A FANTASTIC pAK sHAK mf side by side. The OOC beat out the Ultima by a nose. Both are superior for bug removal compared to QD;s IMO!

Thanks Ron. Looks like I'm going to have to take a couple more looks at the two side by side.

I have really grown to like Ultima's Waterless Wash.

Using AG pricing before shipping costs (16 oz. conc. for UWW vs. 32 oz. conc. for Optimum Opti-Clean), you can make a 22 oz. solution of UWW for a mere 66 cents. I also use it daily for quick wipedowns.

I still like Opti-Clean...use it on slightly heavier dirt (but as a spray and wipe product it is $2.75 to make up 22 oz., based on the 32 oz. conc.). Still a good price, but not $0.66.

Now as a rinseless wash I find they both work well. But here it takes 1 oz. of UWW to make a 3 gal solution (=$1.31) versus a mere $0.75 for ONR (1.5 oz. for 3 gal).

And, Optimum offers even larger concentrates which are more cost effective.

Both are great productsd IMO.

Good info Waxmax, I'm waiting on my UWW+ Concentrate to arrive now. How does it compare to say, ONR mixed at QD strength?

As far as comparing UWW+ to ONR at QD strength, the UWW+ is designed to clean better and still leave a slight bit of protection and some slickness. IMO, it's a QD with better cleaning capability.

UWW+ has almost replaced my use of typical QDs. It can also be used as a clay lube.

I mixed the concentrate (.5 oz) with distilled water to make a 22 oz. solution. I think distilled water might reduce streaking(?).

I've been happy with it. But, for rinseless washes, I still reach for ONR.

How was ease of use compared with ONR QD though, I guess that's what I meant. Is it about the same? Do you need to use less product with the UWW versus the ONR or anything else different about it? I'm still going to go with ONR/DP rinseless for rinseless washes as well, but I picked this up to replace QD's

I agree on all counts. I only use distilled water to mix Ultima or OOC or OID. I havent used my QD's in a while. I did an ONR wash of the Ford today. I sprayed the Ultima on the grill and let it dwell while I did the tailgate. I then ONR'ed the grill and the bugs were gone with one swipe! OOC does same. I dont use ONR at QD strength anymore since these waterless have new polymers that ONR doesnt. Corey posted a response from Dr. G. regarding the differences a while back in his stellar OOC review. Hope this helps!

IMO you wont be using ONR QD anymore! Use it the same. It is inexpensive and liberal use protects your paint more IME.
