OOHRAH!
I am a man of many forums and just yesterday registered to become part of your family here! I have recently dropped TONS of money with Nick from Auto Geek Sales and got myself totally hooked up with all new gear to detail my 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel, and wife's 2007 Lexus GS350. I wanted to give a sincere shout out to Nick for turning me on to products I never knew existed and also my first dual action polisher - Porter Cable 7424, which I see has its own forum section as well.
I am obviously a former Marine who is now unfortunately a bit broken and 90% Service Connected (Disabled) with a number of serious injuries sustained from an IED blast while in Iraq. Rather than write my story I thought I'd post two links here about myself and my former hobby that were done last year while I built a very special show bike project - with the outstanding help from many gracious motorcycle companies donating items to me! This first link was done by a gorgeous CBS Sports Roadracing reporter whom I owe a great deal of thanks to. Click the link and then scroll the virtual magazine to pages 42-44 to read story:
Next Moto Champion Magazine January/February 2014
This second link is from one of those kind companies who truly assisted in my build with BST Carbon Fiber Wheels!
Brocks Performance: Retired Marine Corps First Sergeant Rolls with BST
I realize this may be an unusual member introduction but I am anything but the norm-lol. I look forward to learning even more about the how to, great new products, and extending the life of my dream truck I bought upon return from Iraq. Also, over the years I have built an extensive list of very loyal friends who have tarn care of my on wheels, tires, parts and accessories, etc which I offer to EVERYONE on the forum who may be contemplating the purchase of anything for their vehicle. I assure you friends, with the help from these folks you will be able to save hundreds of dollars with my referrals and everything is high above board with no BS or strings attached- I do not make one penny from helping folks out in obtaining stuff for their cars, trucks, and bikes!
Im just a former Marine who still lives by the motto of taking care of others and being there in times of need. Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction and I look fwd to seeing you on the boards! PM me if you need anything at all members!
Semper Fidelis,
Gunny Fitz
PS. I attached the latest photos of my truck after using the products I obtained from Auto Geek. The last two were of me before the IED and my Humvee post blast.
