Hello all. New to this site obviously lol. I decided to start my own detailing business a few weeks ago. I have been deployed 5 times over the past 10 years to Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. As my luck would have it, I have been diagnosed with PTSD and I'm stressed out a lot. I came to find when I was cleaning my car, I was totally at ease and able to flourish and feel optimistic and happy. I realized that this is what calms me down, this is what I need to be doing not only for a monetary living but for functional living. I'm much more calm around my family and friends when I spend time cleaning my car.

I guess the attention to detail that I'm accustomed to from the military, and the peacefulness of working by myself and relying on myself gives me the calming effect. Either way I owe it to myself to try and do this for myself. I hope to learn as much as I can from this site and apply it to Attention To Detail Signature Auto Service.

A2D Signature thank you for your service, I had a traumatic event in my life a little over five years ago that changed my life forever, I emerged myself into detailing not as a living but a side gig. It keeps my mind focused it relieves stress, for me it is the best medicine. Best wishes to you.:buffing:

Thank you for you service and welcome. Sometimes you can get lost while detailing like I do just staring into the shine and looking at the reflections. It will have a calming effect on you.

Thanks for the welcome guys. The good thing for me is that I have saved tons of money from my deployments. Money isn't the issue with starting up. I need to gain experience and learn the dos and donts. I'm a novice ATM so I'm guessing to utilize AIOs as I learn my craft on my own vehicles.
