Hello all! My name is Bryce, and I'm the manager at a detail facility here in Mankato, MN. Considering the current condition of my shop, I will forgo sharing the name. We are attached to a dealership, so most of my business comes from cleaning new and used cars, however we do have a very loyal, albeit old, customer base. I'm here soaking up every bit of information I can to help turn this shop into a viable source of income for the dealership(and in turn, myself)
A little about my shop: I employ 8 full time detailers, two part time, and two service advisors. I have 5 dedicated detail stalls, a roll over tunnel from Broadway equipment, an Auto Butler roll over shine machine, Nilfisk vacuums, Thermax extractors, Central Pneumatic DA's and Rotary's, and we use exclusively 3M/Meguiars chemical and product.
A little about me: I have hardly detailed a car in my life. I suppose I got this job for my motivation and leadership abilities. A stint in the Army will do that I guess. I've learned a lot over the past month or two, but look forward to soaking up your knowledge to pass on to my minions. I currently own a 2003 Cummins Ram. She doesn't get much detailing anymore as the bed and cab corners have fallen victim to rust. But there should be a Jeep replacing her shortly, that I plan to take care of the right way.
Sorry about the long intro, just figured I'd give everyone the lay of the land up here! Thanks for your time! Also...this guy cracks me up!Im the MAN
