I've liked the stuff when I've used it in the past. Biggest part I liked is the near-idiotproofness of it (Griot's, you can use that if you're reading this... :laughing: ).
I tried Cancoat (MK1) once, and found it to be far more stressful than I care to endure during my limited time I can put towards this detailing hobby. I quickly found my lighting situation was sub-optimal, and just overall wasn't left running back to complete the can.
The 3 in 1 was much easier to use, and the one time I got a high spot it wiped away with another quick application. While, like you say Desertnate, the water behavior isn't mind blowing, after going through a MN winter I could still see that it was still working under the grime. (By way of water still trying to bead, as well as easier cleaning than if it had run it's course).
