Just got my griots 6 inch polisher, 5" backing plate and several 5.5 inch pads but my griots doesn't have wrench to change the backing plates. Should it have come with one or was that something that I should have ordered?

PM me your info and I will look into it.

I just ordered a griot yesterday, I hope it comes with a wrench

yes it should of came with a flat thin wrench as well as an allen wrench/hex-key to move the handle. but it looks like meghan is on top of it already. even with DF going on right now :applause:

Mine came with a wrench. Look through your packaging...it could be hidden in there.

Should have a flat open end wrench for backing plate, hex/allen for handle and extra set of brushes. They were in a small plastic bag under the cardboard packing material in mine.

I checked all of my packing materials and no wrench, allen key for handle or extra brushes. I left a message with Autogeek on Saturday (offices closed) and another one today (Monday) at 11am (cst) and I'm still waiting to hear back.

I took a trip to the Hardware store to see if I could find somthing that would work but they didn't have any slim wrenches that would work. (I bought 5" backing plate and only 5.5" pads)

Looks like my cars have to wait.............

Last year, when I bought the new 3.5 plate for my PC, I couldn't find my wrench. I went to the hardware store to look for something too, to no avail. I finally gave in and ordered the wrench (along with a few other things I didn't need so I could justify the shipping cost.) at AG. A few days after I received my new wrench, I found my old one. My wife always tells me, "If you can't find it, just buy another one and your old one will show up!"

just had an email from Autogeek! They are sending me a replacement wrench! Thanks Autogeek!
