Griot's Garage Long-Lasting Tire Dressing

I tried one version, I thought it was called waterproof, its a dark matte appearance and appears to have a dye in it. It stained my hands and concrete but did last quite a long time.

I agree...I have and use Griot's tire dressing (not the long lasting version), and it works well and lasts. It leaves a satin look to the tire. The instructions say adding additional thin coats will increase the gloss to the appearance if that's what you like.

It does leave a black film or your white or red stripes on a tire, but that wipes right off...no problem at all.

You will need to wash your hands after using it...again, no big deal. Using a pair of disposable mechanics gloves eliminates that problem if you want.

Griot's makes fine products. I can't imagine the long lasting tire dressing not living up to its name.

The Long-Lasting Tire Dressing the op is talking about is clear and non-staining.
The black tire dressing is now called Tire Rejuvenator.

The Tire Rejuvenator is a dye like thick liquid. Ya should wear rubber gloves, cause it does take some scrubbing to get it off the fingers.

It looked great on my tires till I applied Griot's Vinyl & Rubber Dressing on top of the Rejuvenator two days ago. The Dressing seemed to dull the matte finish that the Rejuvenator provided.

Will just stick with the Rejuvenator if and when these two products wear out.
Did apply three coats of the Rejuvenator over a two day period.

Griot's Garage Long-Lasting Tire Dressing is an excellent tire dressing that provides your tires with a low-gloss appearance that dries to the touch. From my experience, one thin coat gives the tires a natural look, but two coats gives them a nice low-gloss appearance.
