"Join our product development team next Wednesday February 16th at 4pm PT for a special live event as we put our Ceramic Family to the test against our competitors’ equivalent products! We'll be durability testing our products in real-time alongside the competitive set to compare the durability, ease of use, and application of each product and give you some insight into our product development process. As always, we'll be giving away prizes during the show so tune and drop a question in the comments for a chance to win. We'll also be announcing our biggest giveaway yet, so stay tuned! #GriotsGarage"

Hopefully they'll decide that I'm no longer ineligible to get any more giveaways.

Be interesting to see what they consider the "Competitor's Equivalent Products". :D

I got a notification for this, really like what's going on at Griot's Garage lately. I think Nick told Dad "we've gotta change with the times"

I'd imagine if Griot's made a true coating and offered one more really high-end Sio2 type product (maybe a better version of 3 in 1), they'd have one of the most killer lineups in the industry.

It sure feels like there is an opportunity to use the BOSS branding to bring out a premium coating style product.

Too bad Griot's Garage isn't in charge of automotive colors, huh

When you say better version, are you talking about Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax or the Liquid Wax 3-in-1?

I was referring to their 3 in 1 spray wax, although it's already quite good. I guess a true coating would be a nice addition to their line.

Griot's partnered with Cerakote to make their ceramic trim wipes because they didn't have the manufacturing capability to make it themselves. I wouldn't expect them to come out with a ceramic coating.

Anything of note to mention? Don’t wanna watch whole cideo so cliff notes would be sweet.

I’d be there test mule if they ever came out with a coating. Suprised with success of ceramic line the hasn’t had one made for them.

There missing the boat.

Playing devil’s advocate, if their requirement is for commercial success in brick and mortar stores, a coating may not be the best investment. Have any coatings had commercial success in local stores? Meguiars had a coating that Autozone and Advanced Auto put on clearance a few months ago.

Even some on here say 3-in-1 Ceramic is good enough protection seeing as how easy it is to apply. But even enthusiasts on here have issues or trepidation when applying coatings.

But you may be right in that they may release one soon. Will be interesting to see.

Reason they gave early on was they want everything in house. Now with Cerakote doing there trim coating that changes.

Although they sell through B&M stores i believe a majority of there sales are from online and catalog sales, Amazon and other online detail retailers.

Just like you can buy Adam’s at some B&M and Chemical guys at same B&M you usually find Griots.

They both do coatings but sell there more viable options that the general masses would use through the B&M’s but sell there coatings mostly online.

If you guys look through one of their catalogs..paint care is like 20% of their business.
They sell a whole lot of ####!!

Wether or not they are just rebranding products with the Griots name, they cover 30 to 40 times more diverse products then Megs/Adams/chemical guys...Etc..
