I'd like to start by thanking Meghan and everyone at Autogeek for all of the fun giveaways! Last Monday, I was the lucky winner of the Griot's Garage Water Resistant Trunk Bag. Meghan notified me on Monday that I had won, and it was on my doorstep on Friday when I got home. It probably would have been there on Thursday had it not been Veteran's Day. Even with a FREE GIFT, she still mailed it out the same day! I wanted to post some pictures and talk a little bit about the bag to show everyone what a nice product it is. From the Autogeek.net website:
Griot's Garage Water Resistant Trunk Bag
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Looking at the dimensions, I was wondering just how much stuff I could carry. I didn't try to max it out (I don't have enough detailing supplies yet to try and tear the seams out of the bag! ) Surprisingly, it's large enough to hold my PC7424XP comfortably with plenty of room for more. There are two nice sized pockets on the front, each of which can easily hold two 8oz. bottles. There is one large pocket in the rear of the bag that could probably hold six or eight 5.5" pads. Not to mention, the two netted pockets on each end! The zippers all move very freely and feel very strong. There's nothing worse than buying a backpack or gym bag and the zipper breaks two days later. These feel very tough. The material is nice and thick, and the black and red look great together. I would say that this bag could be used not only as a trunk bag to carry a few supplies, but it could also be used as a full blown detailing bag. Like I said, there's enough room for my polisher, six to eight pads, four to six bottles of product, and then plenty of room on top of the polisher for an extension chord and a few other odds and ends.
Here are some pictures I took of the bag. I hope you enjoy!
Once again, thank you to Meghan and the entire Autogeek team! They run one heck of a business and really know how to take care of their customers!
