Would this be an alternative to Speed Shine/Speed Shine Ceramic for those who want a cleaning product that doesn't leave anything behind like their other two products?

If I was going to get hyper-specific with my products I could see a use for it. I keep a bottle of QD in my kit of stuff I take to autocross events. It gets used to do a quick clean of my doors before applying my magnetic numbers. These days I use Speed Shine Ceramic or ECH2O. Why? Because I already have them. I don't really need to make my doors more shiny at that point, I just need a clean surface. This would fit the bill.

I know some people use QD spays for light interior clean up and this might be a good product since it isn't leaving light amount of LSP behind?

Just guessing.

Given that the link that PA posted started with "body shop safe" I perhaps got out a little over my skis, clicking on the link makes that part of it the last thing they mention. It's just if you can make a great QD without silicone, why make ones with silicone? This is a dollar more expensive than Speed Shine, but a dollar less than Best of Show.

I guess the more these companies extend their lines, the more cynical I get, and the more they remind me of Chemical Guys.

LOL....all I can say

The next time I'm detailing paint in the spray booth Ill remember Griots garage.....

Maybe they can make an "extra silicone" detailer next, you know, round out the line.

PS I seem to be in a bad mood today

This would be similar to Meguiars M34 Final Inspection and P&S Silicone-free Paint Gloss. I used M34 as a drying aid for a while, then as a clay lubricant because it didn't leave anything behind prior to polishing, however my clay method has evolved to not be bothered by something left behind.

Griot's Garage will NEVER be like CG's, as punishment, you'll need to drive down a dusty road and wait 1 day to wash

Hey--I said I was in a bad mood! I wasn't comparing Griot's to CG's, it's just we've got so many brands, so many products these days. As DFB pointed out, we already have products like this, it just didn't seem like we needed another one, and I get "customers asked for it" but this just seems like it's not going to be the fastest-moving product in the Griot's line. Let me put it this way--how many here are going to buy it? Raise your hand.

I wonder too how much they will sell. You'll probably get the folks that like it as a drying aid or a clay lube, but it does seem to be splitting hairs in an already full product line.

I like some of the specialist products, but I know I'll never much of them. I have a bottle of their Track Spray and it works amazing, but I only use a tiny amount a few times a summer. The bottle I have now will likely be a lifetime supply.
