grit guard for the home depot white 5gal bucket

Leaktite 5-Gal. Bucket-5GL WHITE PAIL at The Home Depot

used this bucket and Garry Dean wash method first time on my car. Even though I am not using two bucket, I felt a grit guard is still very useful when I clean the towels.

Does anyone have experience which grit guard fits this bucket?

If its the foodsafe ones with the green kid label on it then yes, grit guards will fit. :xyxthumbs:

I have 4 of the homer (orange buckets), the grit guard fits 3 of them. The 4th bucket is just a bit smaller at the bottom so the grit guard sits up about an inch off the bottom so that has become my bucket for wheel cleaning. You can take your grit guards to Hom Depot and just try them until you find a bucket that works.

Grit Guard also works in the black 3 gal Home Depot buckets also!
