I have a grout sponge (a few actually) and finally am willing to try it on my car's paint since I'm going to correct it this summer. I have one of those LC sponges and noticed it has squares cut in them. I understand the purpose of these for trapping the dirt. Should I do the same to my Lowes grout sponge?
I usually powerwash at the coin op before my wash too so that helps cut down on dirt.
Thanks guys, I know there's a few people who use these to wash there cars so any other tips are welwas well.

the proline lowes grout sponge is really pliable and soft so no need to. if you have a few, try it out and see how it works for you...

I've been using the Aqua sponge for rinseless washes for over 2 yrs now w/o a problem, check out Ebay!
