i recently used C4 on a friends car and here are some pictures. they are not all that great as i only had my phone to take pictures with. below is a description from the manufacturer. i will post some of my own comments below

Details

C4 Trim Restorer is a nano-composite coating that restores trim to an “as new” state without altering gloss level. C4 uses a covalent or chemical bond to become an extension of the plastic molecule it’s protecting. C4 swaps part of its molecular structure with the surface of the vehicle’s trim to provide a protective coating of unparalleled durability. Recommended use on trim, weather stripping, plastic mirrors and cowls, air boxes, battery covers, and hoses.

Advantages:
Strong UV absorption filter
Chemically bonds with trim surface to ensure maximum durability
Single application maintains a flawless finish for up to 2 years

My Comments:

after cleaning all trim with GTechniq Panel Wipe i applied only 1 coat of the C4 to all of the trim of my friends Suzuki SUV. the trim was faded but not to the point where it was all gray. i used the provided pads that come with the C4 which made it fairly easy to apply. A little goes along with this product. i have the 15mL bottle and i think i used maybe a 1/4 of it and i was able to do all the trim. once you apply the product make sure you wipe off any excess with a MF towel. you will be left with a nice satin finish that is not oily or greasy. the ease of use of the C4 is great. this is my friends vehicle so i will be able to observe the longevity and durability of the product.

so far so good and a week and a few rain showers here in NC.

Looks great! Like you said, not too oily or greasy. How does it bead water?

Great results! I've only used CarPro DLux but want to try C4. I have GTechniq C1, EXO, and G1 so next time I need trim restorers I'm going with that!

Use C1, it's the same as C4.

C4 Trim Restore will repel water the same way C1 or C5 will. Plastic has a different texture to it, so unless the plastic was perfectly smooth and flat to begin with, it won't bead the same way that paint or glass beads. That's the texture of the surface, not the product.

While C1 Crystal Lacquer and C4 Trim Restore are very similar, there are minor differences that make the C4 form a bond with the plastic better than C1 does. You can use C1 on plastic if you want, but I would not use C4 on paint.
