Sharing my latest glass treatment experience:
I had rain x treatment for over 6 months, replying every 2 months without major prep.
Rain x worked nice. Very good on the initial days. Water fly away from 40 to 45 mph.
I applied G1 coating on my wife's car and got similar results.
Then I did the best thing ever to my windshield: used a carpro applicator with G4 glass polish (3 passes) and every bit of rain x and contaminants were removed. I dryed the surface to a streak free finish and applied G5 with a microfiber aplicator. After applying half the windshield I removed it with a ww towel. Buffed off to a crystal clean finish. I was easy.
The best part is how crazy water beads over the windshield. 30 to 35 mph is enough to make water fly away. Great on urban use. I don't need to use wipers no more.
I do recommend this! Can't say anything about durability.
Just sharing.
Regards
Rafael
