This car belongs to the President of the Porsche Club in this region. This is one of my all time favourite cars, the colour is just breathtaking. The owner gave me the go ahead to do whatever it took to make it look better than it did when it rolled of the line. :chacha: The Porsche paint is very soft and it had a fair share of swirls, scratches and the rear wing looked terrible, sanding scratches, pig tails and water marks.
First job was to clean the wheels, P21s Wheel gel was used and several brushes were used to clean the wheels
I sprayed the car first to knock off any loose debris, there was plenty of protection on this car so i had to strip the wax off first.
Foam bath with lots of dawn and GG citrus wash
After that was left to sit, I washed the car down with 2 bucket method
Zaino clay and Born Slippy was used
I then used a reThICKulous towel to dry off the water and the Metro Vac & Blow
All the Trim was taped and the clear bra
Now that everything was stripped i was able to see the true condition of the paint
Here's a 50/50 just after D300, i knew this colour would need a further 2 steps to bring out the depth and gloss
The rear wing needed the most attention, I used the surbuff and M105 this was after my initial couple passes
After the compounded was done i switched ovver to LC White Pad and M205
I was pushed for time so i didnt get any pics of LC BLack 85rd, i then sealed the paint with Blackfire
Wiped of the excess and gave the interior a quick cleaning. The sun was going down so not the best sun pics
