I was in Cali for two weeks for work. This is the car I had to drive. I was so embarrassed :(

I feel your pain.... every time I travel to visit my family (once or twice a year), I take my detailing supplies to detail their cars.... Because I won't be driving a swirled car.... no sir..... Im the MAN

And I didnt have much choice sadly.
Wasn't about to rock an HHR

-Just as long as you weren't charged extra for this:
"Decorative faux finish"

-What did they use?
A mixture of: Crackle, Metallic, and Stone paints?!?!

I feel your pain. I work for a MAJOR rental car chain and have to work around cars like this all day. My blinders are on as soon as I walk through the door.

THIS DRIVES ME CRAYZZZAAAAAYYYYYYY

When a car I had was going to be in the shop for five weeks I got a free rental car.

Yep. I did. A full detail including shampoo and extraction on the seats and carpets. Two step polish and a nice coat of Fuzion. When I returned the car I gave the girl at the counter a bill as a joke. When she went outside with me to check the mileage before finalizing the invoice she couldn't believe how good it looked. But it wasn't as bad as your rental.

(shhh, but some of us have done it)

Yep, that's a rental for sure! Get it back, wash it, vacuum and get it out for the next person to scratch and bag drive.:)

No one said that life would be a walk in the park.

Hmm good idea on practicing. And the faux finish was the fact that it rains like 10 days a year in san diego so dust is everywhere n sticks to the car when it does rain.

Hey now! Nothing wrong with sporting the HHR! Of course I sport the HHR SS on a daily basis....can't say I would ever buy a non SS model though!
