Guzzler towel problem

Hi all,Feed back please
I just purchase the Guzzler towels last month and they have been washed with the micro fiber cleaner as directed and dried on the gentle cycle. I noticed today when putting them away after only the 2nd washing that they had developed runs in the fabric and what looks like fraying. This was very surprising to me as I thought that these were the best quality you can get. I am very disappointed with the Cobra Guzzler. Anyone else with similar issues?
 
Never had that issue with the Guzzlers. I have several Waffle Weave
drying towels that are not Cobras that I have pulled threads by getting them caught on snags. Seems the windshield wipers are my biggest culprit.
 
Would be interested too. I "just" bought the less expensive, blue WW drying towels. They seem very well built & SOFT. But, haven't washed them yet, as I'm waiting for the MF detergent to arrive any day. If you have issues........hope I won't on the cheaper ones. :( Seems like an RA is in order??? :confused:

I purchased 4 of the Cobra WW Drying Towels (green) over a year ago and wash my car at least once a week, I use the Dyna Jet Wringer and on one the material that is sewn to the edge is coming off but that seems like more than acceptable performance to me. I do get an occasional snag but it never runs or damages the towel. I will definitely reorder, I also have the Cobra WW Glass Drying Towels (blue) and never had any issues but obviously thet get less use as its only on the glass. I only use the MF Detergent and hang to dry
 
I have some fraying in my guzzlers. More so with the ones w/o the satin borders.
 
Cut off any loose fibers so they won't run. Do not pull on it.
