Gweed's Gangsters Classic Car Night

Went to one of our local car shows last night after work and since most of the regulars know about our TV show I was probably asked about a dozen times,

What channel is it on?

I know most of the channels for our area but one of the guys told me he used Zap2it to find it so I checked it out this morning and it does seem to work pretty good.

Zap2it.com

Episode 3 is on starting this Sunday and Monday...

Sunday, April 17th at 11:30am Eastern Time - Fox Sports Network
Monday, April 18th at 4:30pm Eastern Time - Fox Sports Network
Those are the time slots from Fox Sports Network but we've found that TV stations are plugging it in all over the place when they need a half hour show to fill their schedule, so if you're looking for a channel to watch the show on check out Zap2it.com or LocateTV

Here's a few pictures from the car show last night, I'll post the rest after I finish another project...

I think this is a 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe Business Coupe with Fender Skirts which you usually don't see very often...

1933 or 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe

Not sure what year or make, I think a Ford from the late 1930's... Any guesses?

This is a very rare Chrysler 300 Hurst

I tried to get a picture of this guy while he was standing but right as I took the picture he laid down, this dog is about as big as a small cow...

the 300 Hurst is indeed a very rare car and that one is in excellent shape as are the multiple #'s matching Hemi cars he has

he recently built a Chrysler T/C wagon around 73 vintage with a cross ram, aluminum head, twin injected 426 Hemi with hubcaps and whitewall tires...really cool
I'll intro you for a future episode.....

That style cab was typical of all the manufacturers through the mid 30's through the mid-40's. Most "new-style" trucks weren't released until the '48-'49 time period when the automakers finally updated their vehicles after a few years of simply continuing their prewar products. I'm sure the horizontal ribs at the beltline are a brand identifier, but I'm neither sharp enough or old enough to make a guess.
