Had a laugh today

So I frequent my local beverage store quite a bit. Been friends with the owner for almost 30 years, and he helped me with my wedding way back in 2000 by delivering all the beer, wine, ice, etc. No charge. (I had done a lot of mechanical work for him and his wife on their boat)

So, today I go to drop off some empties out back as always, and the new kid he hired last week stops his task of raking the debris out back, and runs up to help me unload. See, I had given him a $5 tip last week for the same task, so he was excited.

Thing was, he ran up and leaned his rake against the bed of my truck. I don't know who yelled out "HEY!!!!" first, but the kid was freaked out.

My buddy the owner says "Never touch a car with a tool, but this is PAUL'S truck!!!!!! You're lucky to be alive!!" Lol

Funny story, and the kid he hired is a super kid. He got the massage.
 
I'll go a cool 6 if he leaves his rake in the back. ;)

Lol!! Good catch Bob. Gives the post a sense of wonderment!
 
I was delivering pizzas once and the customer told me to "just put it down right there" (pointing to my trunk lid) so I don't have to hold it while he signs the CC slip. I said um no, I don't want to scratch my paint...now I know how everyones trunk is always so bad.

Didn't you know, the trunk and the hood of a car are also tables, perfect for setting down anything on them or using them for backing while writing.
