It seemed to start when I first checked the AG posts yesterday morning...Just a little history...I'm left-handed living in a world built for right-handed people, so I do have
to think backwards quite a bit.

Anyway, this morning, I was responding to several threads and many times I would type one wrong letter, the correct letter would be for the corresponding finger on the
opposite hand. This has happened quite often.

I have done very little research into this, but it seems to involve reading, writing, and
spelling skills. As far as reading and spelling are concerened I think I fine...My handwriting on the other hand is horrible.

I'm questioning myself for another reason due to work....When you hold your DA, do
you place your left-hand on top and right-hand on the handle or the other way around? I know at times it does make a difference with the Flex Forced Rotation.

It gets frustrating at times to say the least, especially when someone is around and
watching what you are doing.

Anyone with and input????

I have the PC 7424, and I put my right on the top and left on the handle. Though the handle can be switched so you could reverse your hand position. Of course I'm right handed though also.

it's all personal preference.

i like to have the handle in my right hand
left hand on the top
chord over the right shoulder
and chord to the left of where i'm standing so it stays in place on my shoulder.

HOWEVER
there are some places and times which i will swap due to access of the area i'm working with. example would be near bottom edge of panels at fender wells.

Right handed person here, I put my left hand on the top (over the polishing pad) except when maneuvering in tight spots that require me to switch.

I think you have a more serious problem:xyxthumbs:

Left Handed here! I start off with right hand on top, left hand holding the handle. But the fact is like you say,
I'm left-handed living in a world built for right-handed people
.

Thing is, once I get going with my 7424XP or G110V2 I switch hands whenever I need to. I'm sure it looks strange to some people, but it works for me. Since, I am left handed I find it easier to switch between my left and right hand without even thinking about it. In a right handed world we "lefties" need to adjust and I just about do everything with both hands equally well (typing, detailing, using scissors or a wrench and just about anything other than writing with the same accuracy in both hands).

This is a song from a site called LeftHandersDay I found years ago.
Left Handed Tour - The Lefty Lament song

I also have a book about us "lefties" I got a few years ago for Christmas called, "The Natural Superiority of The Left-Hander". It’s a great read! Here’s a fact..."We know that if both parents are left-handed, 50% of the kids will be left-handed too. But if both parents are right-handed, only 2% of the kids will be left handed." I fall in to the 2%

I do same and I am big-Time right handed.

The difficulty I find in the Flex especially is that I feel as though I'm fighting the rotation of the pad...That's my problem.

Thanks for the song...I'm in the 2% category as well...I'm not as fortunate as you are,
my left hand is for things requiring finess, my right hand just stares at the left hand...lol
