Thanks guys for the compliments. I wish the customer reacted the way you all do, but he was not an expressive guy. I take the pictures for my social media page, which helps net me more work.
I’ve been using 3D Speed for 7 years and never has it seemed like applying filler ‘makeup’. It’s corrective ability is insane and it’s ease of removal is the best part. It’s a cheat code in this industry.
People talk about it as though it has the lifespan of tire shine. I wonder if they’ve ever used it themselves. I do ‘speed polishes’ annually for many trucks that I see every week and have never seen it ‘wear off’. I have too much riding on my local reputation to be delivering short lived results.
I worked it on this red truck using four slow section passes with firm down pressure, making sure that pad stayed flat. The Force Orange pad on a 3401 will leave a pattern if you don’t maintain the correct contact.
Tip: LC Force Orange with Speed will not work on black paint. Gotta go with the White pad. The white pads get stained by speed and are a pain to clean out, but they give amazing results with a 3401 using light down pressure.
