My birthday is next week and I'll be with my parents and she'll be with hers so she decided to give me my birthday gift early.

She got me the Rupes swirl finder light and the Flex PE-8. How cool is that? She's been looking at the 5 series with the M Sport package. Maybe she's trying to tell me something..... This Flex will be a great addition to my Cyclo and my Flex 3401. Join with me and tell her how great she is. Also, question below

Question. Should I get the yellow Lake Country 2 7/8 backing plate and some 3" pads?

Nice! My wife got me the PE8 kit for our anniversary a few months ago. It's an awesome machine. Your girlfriend rocks!

Very nice. What came in your kit that you liked and didn't like? Feel free to give me suggestions on pad and backing plates

Congratulations for the gf and the gift!

Two and three inch Hydrotech pads. I also have the 1 inch backing plate and Flex pads.
Your girlfriend sounds like a good one.

That's awesome! Congrats! She is a keeper!

Eyeing a new 5 series with the M-sport package eh? Order it with the Carbon black Metallic paint. Also I know BMW has an option to where you can order the car factory de-badged. I can't recall the code however ask your salesman.

Have you thought about the Flex plates and pads for the PE8?

I bought the PE-8 kit with the 1, 2 and 3 inch backing plates and pads. Great for all the tight spots.

This. Autogeek has all the pe-8 specific backing plates and pads. For the bmw you probably could get by with just the 3" set up, but I'd suggest the 2" as well for that front bumper. I don't think you would need the 1" on that car; you can always run the 2" on an edge if you get to a spot that is super tight.

Do get the durowool pads along with the flex pads. I'm really liking the finishing of the green pads on harder paints.

She have a sister? :D

She has a brother if you're still interested. LOL

Thanks Mike! I got the Flex 3" backing plate and Flex Pads. I also got the Hydrotechs as suggested. She's looking at Certified Pre Owned 5's. We test drove the Carbon Black one. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it.
