Alright boys and girls...its that day of the week again...what day is it?!?!?! In the words of the late great David Haines....

Happy Friday everyone!!!

In keeping up with yesterday's car theme and Amy's (she's so fine) groovy outfit, today's song of the day is:

So this weekend I'm laying low...my fiance is spending some time with her pops, so I figure I'll run out and do some Christmas shopping. I will, at one point, do an ONR wash on my car....its disgusting!!! Thats pretty much it for me....its gonna be a low-key weekend...but you know what...I'm gonna enjoy it. :dblthumb2::awesome:

What do you guys have on tap for the weekend? Have you guys started Christmas shopping?

Then I get to go into the non-heated garage and correct the hood of the Durango, so I can start testing 845's potency on a LSP under it. By the way... It is 33 outside right now!
 
You're making me hungry...I haven't eaten breakfast yet...then again its already 10 so I'm gonna hold out until lunch.

What is the LSP?
 
Just installed my mud guard and window visors yesterday. Going give it a ONR wash or waterless then sealed them.

I told myself I would never buy 17 dollar spray bottle, but I'm weak and bought it during the 15% sale. Going probably use it with dp waterless wash. :)
 
Happy Friday Alex! The Porsche Pilot weekend will be mild. Doing a few car mods, vac plane out then will have to entertain Mrs. Pilot to make up for having too much "Ed time".

What are you going to use to seal the windows? I want to do this but I’ve never done it before. I need to research on how to do this. I’m sure its simple.

I want to try an ONR on my car first and then I’ll use the DP WW that I got with the giveaway bag next weekend.

What do you plan on doing to your ride? I really want an OEM remote starter on my car. I want to install it myself…just gotta see how hard it is to this.

Alex if your going install remote starter, I would suggest looking into viper 5901 system. Its an alarm and remote starter. Can be found on ebay for about 225, if your a DIY person you save 150ish on install.

I kinda wanna stick with OEM...I love the alarm on my car...love the chirp. I just need to be able to warm up the car from the crib and not have to worry about someone jumpin in. From what I've read, the OEM remote starter shuts off when the door is opened. Alot of people don't like that feature but I do.

But thank you for the info though...I'll still take a look at it.

Yeah I rather stick with OEM also just so that dealership can't say it void warranty if something breaks. But I want a better alarm and louder chirp. Sometimes I'm only 15 feet away and the car won't lock, a lot of people with TSX has the same problem.

What I do is put the key under my chin and that always works.
 
I heard it from a friend, that if you put the key fob under your chin, you get longer distance when locking or unlocking the car.

You should try this, keep pressing the lock button on the fob until its out of reach, then put it under your chin and press lock button. It should work. :xyxthumbs:

^ This is an old school trick! Works best if you have fillings in your chicklets!

I'm taking Trouble to a birthday party tommorow. She turned 6 yesterday, her FFF turns 9 next week

I'm about to head out to pick out an Underarmour from dickssportinggoods. I had a M but had to return it because it was too loose. I was planning on using it for running, but it's also be great for detailing in the chilly weather.

Its expensive but its worth it. Got it on sale for 40 bucks for compression mock. Great stuff worth every penny.
 
Christmas celebrations start tonight! Two ugly sweater parties to go to. This is the last Saturday I have to work because I just accepted a full-time job. Cleaning the f150 Sunday. Then going home for dinner with the family Sunday night.

I need to pick up some underarmour…I’m not going to like this winter. I’ve been cold all day and its about 50 outside. WTF?! I’m about to sit on my hands.
