Happy Friday Boys and Girls!!!!!!

I wanted to start off by saying "Thank-You" to Charles aka flyinion for taking over the "Happy Friday" threads for me while I was out. I might have to hire him full time, coming up here soon, because I don't think I will have access to AGO...matter of fact I'm pretty sure I won't have access. So thank-you very much Charles for filling in.

So I'm slowly but surely getting settled into married life. I'm still moving stuff over from my house to hers. Once I get all of my stuff out of my house I'll be renting it out. Anyone in the Nova area interested ;-)

Anyways, its good to be back on AGO. While I was out, I would checkin in once in awhile to see whats going on but never sat still long enough to post anything. I hope everyone is doing well. What are the plans for the weekend?!

Happy Friday! Wait what? No access to AGO? How does that work?

Nothing much going on here this weekend. GF working tomorrow so I'm going down south a bit to pick up our quarterly wine "shipments" from the couple of wineries we have club memberships at. Was planning on fixing some holograms leftover from a PDR on the GF's Altima but having some tendon issues on my left forearm so that might not happen (don't want to aggravate it).

I do think there will be a continuation of the "great lightbulb quest" to find a replacement bulb for these garbage plug in type "stick" shaped CFL's that are in the house we're renting from my friend. Thought I had the right one last night but it wouldn't snap into place.

p.s. if anyone is into electrical and can help me out with that, I'd appreciate a PM.

Hey Dave!!! Happy Friday to you sir! I've missed you guys as well! Things are going pretty good indeed...I'm still trying to get used to everything. It was kinda weird when I came home from work the other day and she's sitting there making dinner. It's a good weird though LOL!

You guys are really into wines! Are you into cigars at all? I am slowly getting into cigars...I picked upa box of Cohiba's while on the cruise. I made sure to get the real box with the hologram tax stamp and everything.

Anyways man...take care of that forearm and goodluck with the light buld quest. Hopefully someone will chime in. Have a fantastic weekend my friend!

Ah, you gotta get home Internet access then :xyxthumbs: I've had the occasional cigar off & on, first learned about them back in the 90's when I joined the Navy and we could get real Cuban ones while in port overseas. I have maybe one a year though. We'll go to a wine festival and there will be a cigar vendor there. I probably wouldn't do it more than that, though it would be nice to find some that go well with my other drink of choice.........Scotch & Irish whiskey lol.

I told my wife I need to finish my degree before we have kids so I have to get to it LOL!!! Yeah man the humidity is back over here too...a week ago they said no more 90 degree days......WRONG!!! I need to expand my drinks. I found out about SOCO and Lime Juice while sitting at the cigar bar on the cruise ship. I would like to try a good scotch. I have a nice Arturo Fuente cigar that I'll be smoking this weekend. Any suggestions on the scotch?

Hmmm, so suggestions for Scotch. Well, I pretty much drink single malts, but checking out a blended might be good for you as well. I've heard good ones are Chivas Regal 12yr and Johnnie Walker Black Label. Ones that I think are good from the single malt category.......

Glenlivet 12yr (like mid-20's for a bottle)
Glenfiddich 15yr (love this stuff)
Balvenie Doublewood 12yr (really good for the price)

If you are brave and want to try a smokey peaty monster type you could check out something from Bowmore or Laphroaig.

These are all whiskys that you don't want to mix with anything but a few drops of water (opens some of them up like wine "breathing"). Ideally you'd drink them straight up with no ice, but if you need to chill it a bit that's up to you.
