Hard vs Soft Wax?

Ok, so this might be a very noob question, but what's the difference between a hard and soft wax? I was going through some Dodo products and it had both hard and soft waxes so I was just curious on the difference.

The wax itself is hard or soft. The harder wax will last a tad longer then the soft. The softer wax is easier to work with.
