Harley Sportster 1200
I had the opportunity to detail this Harley that belongs to a local fire fighter. It was a neat to be able to detail the bike in the bay next to all of the emergency vehicles. This is the coolest looking fire station I have ever seen.
The bike was pretty clean when I showed up but got a rinse less wash. Various chrome areas of the bike had some rust spots that needed to be hit with steel wool and metal polish. After all the chrome had been hit with steel wool, it was polished using Mothers Metal Polish and an orange 4 inch pad on the Griots DA.
The seat was removed to gain access to all of the paint and more of the frame to be cleaned. The paint was polished using M205 and 4 inch green pad on the Griots DA. The paint was waxed with Collinite 845. The seat received 303 to help protect against UV.
I don’t get very many motorcycles but when I do it is a nice change of pace. No real before pictures but here are the during/afters…
Thanks for looking!
