I hear it doesn't require any buffing after it's worked onto the paint. Have you had good results with it? Or if you have any other product suggestions, that would be great. I'm going to be starting a mobile detailing business in the near future, and need a good polish/sealant for a one step process.

The no buffing part is not true. You might be thinking about BF Crystal Seal. I have used Poorboys Polish with Sealant and Meguiar's D151 successfully as all in one type products.

The two are a powerful combo....BF TPnS leaves a slight haze that you buff off, then crystal seal....l My goto sched for the two on a new car is:

Daily driver detail
1. If needed, Clay with ONR lube
2. Blackfire Total Polish and Seal on an orbital with green CCS pad- this leaves almost no haze
3. Remove with BF poly spray or just buff off by hand
4. Blackfire crystal seal or BF Wet Diamond..Crystal seal fastest, no buff at all
5. Blackfire spray wax or poly spray after weekly washes

Applying crystal seal after total polish and seal would make it a 2 step process, correct? I would like to keep it to just one step after claying. I need good results while going over the car just once with my DA. Thanks.

Then just use TPnS....I'm not much into polishing without sealing.....crystal seal is 10 min to put on, I don't see that as more work...

You want a true one step try pinnicle XMT360 but requires buff.

There is no one step I know off that does not require a buff off....

Meg's D151 sounds intriguing. After reading about it, I may have to give it a go. From what I gather, you would just change pads to get the desired results. Thanks for the heads up.

So total polish and seal is not a true sealant then? The word seal is in the product name, so I just thought that it would be a sealant as well. Thanks.

Thanks! Sounds exactly like what I am looking for. Between that and Meg's D151, I should have what I need for most of my jobs.

amazing product. :xyxthumbs: TP&S just dissappears into the paint. i used it by hand. in one step you clean and seal the paint. then i maintain it with BF wet diamond polymer spray.

the crystal seal is also off the hook. one of the best spray sealants out there.

Hey Ed,

I did a little review that you might find helpful...

Blackfire Total Polish and Seal does leave a sealant behind but like all "all-in-one" products long term protection could use a bit of a boost.

For a stunning shine top with a quality sealant. Anyone of the following will give you an amazing gloss and outstanding protection...

If you are looking to go with D151, which I use a lot for 1 step, you really shouldn't top it with crystal seal as the D151 has a wax in it. Now I'm not saying you can't but it just isn't really the process that is supposed to be done.

If your going to go the D151 way, I usally will top it with some Optimum Car Wax. It's super quick to put on and it adds the extra protection that D151 lacks.

D151 is great when you have a DD that doesn't wanna pay for correction but wants the car to look better. I'll usually hit it with a yellow B&S pad and have at it. Time is the biggest factor and if your not getting paid to polish, don't add more steps then what your getting paid to do.
