So I went to the New England International Auto Show at the Boston Convention Center yesterday and came across a booth that offered detailing products from a company I've never heard of, "Doctor Wax - Nanox" (I discovered the booth as I was networking with a couple of guys who had a booth set up for wheel refinishing - Best part of anything auto related is networking :dblthumb2:).

With my curiosity peeked I started talking to the salesman who didn't seem to know alot of the product he was selling after being asked a barrage of questions concerning his products lol.
After expressing my interest of re-selling detailing products he handed me a bottle of the 24oz Detail Wax and told me to call him back to set up to let him know what I think. My only concern is this will be something like Armour All... I don't think the car could handle the shock of a product as harmful as that lol. Let me know what you guys(gals) think?

I've never heard of it.

I did Google it and the website is still under construction if that means anything....:dunno:

My conversation would of ended there, and I would of just walked away. Either way give it a shot on a "test" subject, not your own personal car though :D

the one that you're talking about "Doctor Wax-Nanox"('s)
bottle of the 24oz Detail Wax...being: "something like"?

I must inquire:
Have you ever...personally...used this "AA" Detail-product?!?!

The MSDS, nor the product description, for:
'ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wash and Wax Detailer'...doesn't paint a picture of it being any more
harmful than many other manufacturers' "Detail Sprays...IMHO!!

I try my best to not knock car-care products...Including "Older Brands".
Many have improved formulations/attained VOC compliance.

And, afterall...
ArmorAll set the gold-standard...many years ago for: "dressings".

Something that others:
1. Have never met
2. Say they have met
3. Say they have exceeded

Just saying...

:)

I did the same thing with the same results. I've noticed that with some other companies at local shows.

I like trying out new products, especially for free and it's wierd when you tell people you own your own company and pull out a business card they all of a sudden want you to try there product for free. I'm not complaining, I've found some real great products this way over the years.

I make it a habit to not try new products on customers cars, I test them on my vehicles, along with close friends and family. But they get there cars done for free so none complain :xyxthumbs:

-You could say that, I'll let you know when I try it out if it is of the same "quality"

2)Have you ever...personally...used it???

-Actually yes I have, I've tried out just about every product from them. So from person experience I can make such a claim, doing so without experiencing the product is unprofessional.

3)The MSDS, nor the product description, for:
'ArmorAll Ultra Shine Wash and Wax Detailer'...doesn't paint a picture of it being any more
harmful than many other manufacturers' "Detail Sprays...IMHO!!

-This may be your opinion, but like I said, I've based mine off of personal experience. I believe there detail spray reduces the longevity of your protective coating significantly.

4) Physical and Chemical Properties
Appearance And Odor: Opaque, white I try my best to not knock car-care products...Including "Older Brands".
Many have improved formulations/attained VOC compliance.

-I can agree with you to a point, but just because a company has an improved formula or have become VOC doesn't make them a better product. In my opinion ArmorAll is a very cheap product overly priced.

4)And, afterall... ArmorAll set the gold-standard...many years ago for: "dressings".

-I couldn't disagree with you more, I have found there dressings to prematurely fade the trim, dash, there leather cleaner leaves a oily film on. There tire dressing I found early on to "brown" the tire, on white walls, causes yellowing.

-You can argue application, that I used too much, to little, that I didn't follow instructions but I can tell you I've used out the same exact way I have used Meguiars, Black Magic, Blackfire, DP Series, Lexxol, and ArmorAll has to be the worse product out there when out comes to protection, staining, cleaning, etc.

:bump2:

@Bobby the company that makes the product is:
Hi-Gear Products, Inc
Hudson, Ma

They seem too make alot of products to anything auto related and two lines of detailing product. I think I'm going to visit there office and see what I can uncover. If I never use it I can atleast sell it in my store.
