I decided to use 3M perfect-it 3000 swirl mark remover i had around with my PC and Edge orange pad on my sisters Honda Accord (black) and noticed when i would spread it on, then put it on speed 3 and work it in alittle then bump it up to speed 5, after a minute or two of working it in would start to almost dry up. When i went to go buff it off with an Cobra indago mf it was very hard to get off but it would come off slightly with some spots that wouldn't. They recommend a speed of 1400-2000 RPM and I was working outside and it was about 45-55 degree outside with 50% humidity if weather is a factor. Has anyone had this problem with this product before. Was the weather or speed a factor in it drying too fast.

this is why I hesitate to use this line. I always seem to have some problem and yet all professionals love it. Luckily if you get a stubborn spot of polish that cannot easily buff off, use a damp towel !

I only did a test section to see how well it would work, but i did have to dampen a towel to the rest out.

First of all, I love 3M Extra Cut 3000 and UltraFinaSE. But the Swirl Remover is just average. It doesn't have a long working time, you need to spray a little water on the surface and it's really better with a rotary. Also, 3M pads are the best I've tried yet - LC and Edge are a distant second/third. Personally, I just ordered Menzerna IP to use in place of 3M Swirl Remover. I do a lot of older cars that have been neglected.

Its not one of my usual products to use, but i just decided to try it out because i was running low on my XMT #3. If im able to work with it again ill try out the water on the surface.
thanks

This is not the same line that professionals use, the professional line polishes are up to par with Menzerna.. (almost :D)
