Hazing Clouding with Blackfire Pro Black Ediiton

Coated my son's White 2023 Type R yesterday. It looked great when we were done. This afternoon, he looked at the car in the garage and it looks like it has a slight haze to it. What could have caused that?


Followed this process:
Instructed the dealer not deal or even wash the
Washed car
Full clay bar to deal with rail dust
Very little paint correction needed
Polished with DP Coating Prep polish
Wiped with Blackfire Paint Prep
Coating the car with two coats of Blackfire Pro Black Edition, waiting an hour in-between coats.

After trying a couple things, I was able to improve it with doing a light polish by hand with Swirl remover. I am planning to do my mother's new black SUV in a couple weeks, and want to make sure I prevent the same thing from happening with it.

I'd appreciate any advice.
 
Sounds like it was not leveled properly from the surface. What towels did you use for wipe off? How many towels did you use?

I used Cobra Edgeless Microfiber Polishing cloths. Used three total for both coats. Should I have changed them more often? Explain to me the proper how I get proper leveling maybe that is an opportunity for me to improve a technique. I spread waited for it to start beading and wiped off. Should I have done more buffing, is that was levels it?

You will definitely need more towels. After a few panels the first towel will load up and will eventually push product around. i would recommend a low nap towel (300 - 350 GSM) for the first wipe rather than a plush towel. The coating is not being completely removed from the surface.
 
Agreed with Guz. You needed to use more towels.

I use 6-10 1st wipe towels and 2-3 secondary wipe.

I buy a 10 pack of towels that I plan to use and toss away for each coating. Look at them as consumables like the coating

The rag company 300’s or 365 would be great.

Also like the cobra Forrest green towels.

Yes, looks like the product wasn't removed properly .. shorter nap is better, and at least 8 towels for a mid sized car.
 
The low nap for the towels used as the first wipe is very important I've discovered. A more plush nap leads to a smeary and hazy mess which only gets worse as the towels get a little saturated with coating.
