HD Poxy Cure Overnight?

Anyone ever left Poxy on overnight before buffing it off?

I know it says 30-45 minutes, but is it terrible to go like...12 hours?

Longer the better I would imagine.just make sure there is no micro dust on the paint being that u r leaving on for a extended amount of time.

There is no reason to leave it on longer than directed.

it sounds like he wants to maximize from the product,or he doesn't have that extra 45 min wants to follow up on removing when he has time.

follow the directions from the manufacturer they know their product best. the longest I would let a wax/sealant sit on the finish before removing it would be a few hours tops and that's pushing it. there's really no need to...

I haven't tried Poxy, but there has been several times now when I wash, clay and apply a sealant late at night, then go to bed and remove in the morning (some 10 hours later).

I have had no issues doing that...

I too have always been worried of the dust issue with products that say to let cure for several hours.

I asked because I finished polishing a job really late last night and wanted to put the Poxy on, go home then take it off this morning when I got back to my shop.

I ended up just waiting the 45 minutes.

Someday I'll try overnight and post my thoughts.

I have heard guys say that they left it on overnight and it buffed off easy. So you should be fine

I feel once a wax/sealant dries , there is no benefit to letting it sit. I mean its not like its penetrating the clear coat, it can only do so much.

Just my opinion, could be wrong,

However if the wax/sealant is easy to wipe off and you let it sit, and its hard to wipe off. I feel then, it adhered better, to the paint.

But if a wax/sealant wipes off the same way after 30 mins of drying vs 1 day i feel there is no benefit, again thats just how i feel could be wrong !

Sealant's drying (hazing?) time...and
it's curing times?

For debating purpose...I'm going to say
that the answer is: Yes.

Can a Sealant cure, while it is "covered in a haze"?

If it cannot:
Is an obligatory 12-24 hour undisturbed curing
time-period then required for the Sealant to
properly bond, once the hazing has been removed?

If it can:
Then after the protracted-hazing is removed,
there should be no need to wait on any
additional Sealant curing-time. Correct?

However, I am not asking if there is a benefit to additional time. I am asking if there are negative consequences to additional time before wiping the haze/dust off.

I want to be able to put it on at midnight, and go home. Then wipe it off at 8 am....
not put it on at midnight, then try to stay awake for another 45 minutes and wipe it off!

Don't think I listed any actual benefits to
"additional time"; but:
I did list at least one negative consequence
of leaving a Sealant's haze on a vehicle for
a protracted time period, (like a 12 Midnight
to 8:00am time-period), beginning here:
