HD POXY vs COLLINITE products

In terms of depth of color and longevity, what's everyone's preference?

I have HD POXY. Never tried the other brand
 
POXY is much prettier. Collinite is still pretty but lasts significantly longer.
 
You will be very pleased with Proxy. Just used on a detail and the client loved the look. If you are looking for long term durability over the winter etc go with Collinite.
 
I have both.
POXY = Deep Wet Look - Not as durable as the Collinite products. Great looker for sure....

Collinite 476 = Decent depth, Glossy, Durable. I use this more than the others.. My winter go to product.

Collinite 845 = Shiny, Not quit durable as 476. Easier to apply.

I like them all.

Nope--476 is the most durable--845 the easiest to use. Collinite outlines this on their website and most here will agree.
 
If I were to buy another sealant, I would get Griots new Poly Wax. Supposed to look great, last a long time, be easy to work with etc. It has a lot of good reviews. Just giving you another option if you want it or not. Haha
 
what's the collinite bottle number? I find the bottle the easiest rather than the paste.
 
There was a big wax test from like 6 years ago and 915 outlasted 476. Could have been conditions but I thought that was interesting. Anyway, I think 845 is the way to go if you are looking for a balance between ease of use and durability. Lets face it, most of us wouldn't wait more than a few months to wax so 845 is perfect since its so easy to throw on another coat.
 
Yesterday I used HDSpeed on my Silver 2015 Mustang since its was its first birthday (and the weather was finally nice in Florida). I used a buff and shine microfiber pad and the results were stunning. The paint looked clearer with more metal flake showing through than I've seen with any other combo I've used on the car. Not one to leave well enough alone, I topped it with Collinite 915 and the results were not as brilliant. I would have loved to try the HDAdapt combo but haven't purchased it yet. Anyone else have this experience?

Next time top it with HD Poxy, they are synergistic and it will make your metallic flake pop big time. It was the two step I did on the BMW 428i and the metallic flake in the gray paint was amazing.
 
I loved poxy, 845 is nice but for the most part I have assigned it to glass. Once my bottle of Exp runs out, poxy will be my only sealant. Poxy fills a decent amount and creates a nice darkness and depth to darker paints, I haven't noticed it darken white too much though.
