New around here so first, hello! A brief bit about myself. I am obviously a car guy. I am a 16 year ASE/I-CAR/PPG and GM Master Certified Refinish and Collision Tech. Decided to join and follow along. A fan of detailing and talking about it.

So now on with the results!

Well the weather is great this weekend so I took the '67 down to the shop for a paint correction. Haven't really done much to it ever since the rebuild 10 years ago.

Went with HD Speed with a White CCS.
Topped that with WG DGPS on Red
Then after an overnight cure topped it with a wax not sold here. Pretty stoked with the results.

A quick before shot showing some wash swirls and scratches over the years...

After with only Speed

Then a few finished shots outside. The sun decided to hide so these are the best I could snap today!

If you like Speed with a white CCS polishing pad, you should try it with an Orange CCS pad. I was blown away by my results with that combo on a rotary. Your Camaro may not have needed the extra bite the orange pad gives. But I honestly could not believe how well the orange CCS finished LSP ready. (I topped my Speed, I couldn't stop my self)

I am seriously jealous of your Camaro. It sure shows your skills as painter. I love shots of clouds.

Your '67 looks amazing! I just ordered some HD Speed myself, along with Adapt and Poxy (I've been using strictly Menzerna). I haven't tried any of them yet, but I can't wait to after seeing this!

Nice job and A++++ on the car! WOW! LOVE 'Dat Blue!

Nice!!!!! Whats under the hood? Like the color.

Thanks for the compliments! Under the hood is the original 327. Would like to big block it some day. But who knows if I will ever get around to it.

What rotary you are using and how many RPM?, I've noticed that with my DeWalt, CCS Orange pad, HD Speed to 1400 RPM, I completely dry the product after 4 passes, unlike that with a DA that has great long working time.

Well, I know who I'm going to ping for all my GM paint questions! :) Welcome to AGO!!!! :buffing:

Nice work and beautiful Camaro! I love the color. On the AGO Forum, it's safe to assume that HD Speed is well loved and respected.
It's my go-to AIO, and as others said, you can increase it's cut by going to more aggressive pads, i.e. Orange LC CCS. or in my case the Orange GG BOSS pads.
I like Speed for it's cut/finish and easy wipe-on/wipe-off. Another rapidly growing AIO in my collection is the Griot's BOSS Finishing Sealant.

Welcome to the forum!

Hey Mike. Chillicothe if you have ever heard of it. About an hour outside of Kansas City.
