Let me start off by saying that Autogeek has become such a pleasure to be a part of and I am glad I have found such a great community. I know plenty of guys have helped me out at times:

Mike Phillips
Meghan
Nick
Ray
Todd Helem
Kevin Brown
Mike (Smack)
Zach McGovern (zmcgovern45)
Todd Randich (Pureshine)
Joseph Torbati (Jsmooth)
Tony (Cardaddy)
Roshan (ihaveacamero)
Christopher Brown (Christopher.brown)
Chris (Chris@AutoCleanse)
Kris (RPPM)
Mark (VP_Mark)
Garry Dean

Just to name a few that I have chatted with either on here email Facebook or by phone. I am always very thankful that there is such a tight loyal following in this industry where detailers help one another out. I think it's very rare in other industries but it's here is the detailing world and I couldn't ask for anything better.

For any one new to detailing just know that is is not a cut throat industry but one that sticks together helps one another out anyway possible and those that I have listed, while it may not be everyone (if you have helped me post it up so I can thank you) it's certainly a great list of guys and girl who took time out to help me in one way or another.

Now if there is one thing I have learned so far it's that education and detailing go hand in hand. I have the chance to get to detail Fest and I had a great time and learned a ton. I highly recommend everyone go if they can. With this industry changing rapidly I have realized that training is key but learning from the right people is even better whether is Mike, Renny, Kevin, or Meguiar's HQ with Michael Stoops these are people that I would go to for training because of the reputation.

You can never learn enough!

As my business has grown so has my desire to learn and become educated by the best in the business. After reading Renny's Book I knew that if I wanted to increase my skill and knowledge I had to go to trainings and learn learn learn.

I worked hard put money aside and finally had enough to go do my 1 on 1 training with Renny. I couldn't be more excited to take my skills to the next level and receive some of the best training that there is. I know I will come out learning so much more than I can ever imagine but having someone who is much greater than I am teach me and watch me and take me to the next level is what I need to continue to grow in skill and in knowledge.

I am going to if possible do my best to document my trip as I have with detail Fest so I invite you guys to come along with me next week when I make my trip.

Evan, good luck and have fun! your work was superb before, can only imagine after!

Dude, super congrats on the opportunity to train with a "master", you are a fortunate & smart detailer. It would be a cool thing to hear of your experience with Mr. Doyle.

Congrats Evan, that is awesome, and im sure we all look forward to hearing about it!

Good luck buddy and that is some great news. Learning from someone who knows the industry and business side of detailing. Keep us informed as you usually do with this opportunity and most of all have fun.

That is awesome! Enjoy it man, I'm jealous. :)

Enjoy, look forward to hearing about your experience!

Congrats Evan!

Looking forward to living that dream thru your documentation.

The only way to learn is to have fun learning.

Have a great time!

Thanks guys I'm looking forward to it and documenting what I can.

Hey Evan, can I go with you? You can tuck me away in backpack in the corner of the room. I'm only 6' tall and 250 lbs. so I won't take up much room. I promise I'll be quiet so you won't even know I'm there!
Seriously though, I'm jealous as Hell but happy and excited for you nonetheless. Just do your best impression of a sponge and keep us posted.

Congrats!

Steve

Talk about commitment! Good stuff Evan, keen to hear all about it. :xyxthumbs:

Awesome! I would love to do some legitimate training like that at some point. Soak it all in and make sure to update us as possible.

Nice! Training with Mr. Doyle seems like a very wise move and one that should pay for itself rather quickly in my opinion. Good luck and safe travels!
