What I used.

800>1000>2000 wetsanding.
Griots garage 3" DA.
Hydro Cyan Cut Pad.
Meguiars Plastix.
Meguiars Headlight Protectant.

I think I should step up to 3000 or longer sanding on 2000 because I noticed some slight scratches.

Before:

After:
(When I took to picture I noticed the bottom right needed more attention, only my second time doing restoring headlights so I still have some to learn)

Thanks for any feedback,
Bryce

Are you changing your direction when changing grits? You should try that. I just did one of the headlights on our family minivan, all I used was M105, M205 and probably the same protectent you used. Sorry I don't have pictures at the moment to show you.

I usually make sure to take longer doing each subsequent step just to make sure everything's as smooth as possible. I'm not familiar with the cutting power of Plastix, but I use ScratchX and they always finish out nicely. Next set I do I'm going to finish off with 205 (after ScratchX) and see how that goes. I'd also consider coating it with something more long term, like Opti-Coat 2.0.
