Hi guys,

I replaced a broken headlight on my car and now I need to get the other to literally new condition so they match. The problem is, it's not badly oxidized as it is pitted. I normally start with 800 and work my way up. What grit should I start with here?

I'd be wary of chasing pits. If there's factory UV protection still left (and it looks like there is), you'll see much faster UV degradation on that lens if you wet sand. I'd simply polish to clean it up a little bit and then live with it. If you sand, you might have a more poorly matched pair in a year than you do now. My two cents :)
