Headlight Restoration on Honda

These were bad! And my first go and doing preety good i'd say myself.
Process: Wetsand, 1500, 2000, 3000, and then compound 105 and machine polish 3m with rotary.
Any thoughts or comments to improve or to do would be appreciated.

The owner was very happy and thought he needed new headlights!

Thanks mike! I had some plastic lens restorer i think it was from meguiars. Also i topped them with collnite 845.
I should probably invest in a better sealant though.
 
The before picture is of the passenger side and the after is of the drivers side. Are you sure you didn't just install a new headlight on the drivers side? :joking:

Lol thanks, i forgot that when i was taking pictures lol next time i will get same side before/after haha.
 
Paint is one thing but you can't beat standing back and seeing one headlight trashed and one headlight transformed back to new!! Good job man

Thanks man! It sure is awesome to see and to do yourself and have the customer happy.

I had a '68 in high school.

Will be on the lookout for it.

That's cool mike, yeah this one was a little hopped up as well. While i had it he let me drive it a few times but the 383 stroker under the hood.

Came out great.
