headlight restoration

Please recommend the kit I should purchase to restore headlights on my friends used work vehicle that was bought for him by the company he works for. Should I go with 3M or Diamondite? They really look unsafe to driving especially in the rain. Thanks.

I use the spar-urethane method. works great!
